Privacy Policy
TypeTune (hereinafter referred to as the Service) sets out the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) regarding the handling of personal information of users in the services provided on this website and application (hereinafter referred to as the Services).
Article 1 (Personal Information)
Personal Information refers to personal information as defined in the Personal Information Protection Act, and refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other description contained in such information, as well as information that can identify a specific individual from such information alone (personal identification code), such as data related to physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and health insurance card insurer numbers.
Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)
The Service may collect account information required to operate the Services. When users use AI features, the Service collects user-provided conversation text (including chat history) and processes it together with an internal app-specific user ID. The Service does not send direct identifiers such as email address or phone number to third-party AI providers for AI response generation.
Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The purposes for which the Service collects and uses personal information are as follows:
- To provide and operate the Service
- To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification)
- To send emails regarding new features, update information, campaigns, etc., of the services the user is using and other services provided by the Service
- To contact the user as necessary for maintenance, important announcements, etc.
- To identify users who violate the terms of use or who intend to use the service for fraudulent or improper purposes, and to refuse their use
- To allow users to view, change, or delete their own registration information and view their usage status
- To process user inputs via third-party AI services to generate responses and provide the core functions of the application
- To use as analysis data to the extent that individuals cannot be identified
Article 4 (Provision of Data to Third-Party AI Services)
To provide AI-driven features, the Service shares certain user data with a third-party AI service provider. We only transmit this data after obtaining explicit consent from the user within the app.
What data is sent:
Conversation text entered in the AI feature, including chat history required to generate contextual responses, and an internal app-specific user ID.
Who the data is sent to:
OpenAI, L.L.C.
Purpose of transfer:
To generate AI responses and provide the core conversational functionality of the app.
Data not sent:
Direct personal identifiers such as email address, phone number, and payment information are not sent to OpenAI for this processing.
Retention period:
User conversation records are retained by the Service only for as long as necessary to provide and improve the app experience, and users may request deletion in accordance with applicable law. Data processed by OpenAI is handled according to OpenAI's API data retention and security controls.
Protection of Data:
The Service confirms that OpenAI provides the same or equal protection of user data as outlined in this Policy. The data transmitted via API is strictly used for generating responses and is not used by OpenAI to train their foundation models.
Article 5 (Changes to the Purpose of Use)
The Service shall change the purpose of use of personal information only when it is reasonably recognized that the purpose of use after the change is related to the purpose of use before the change.
